From Brokenness to Redemption: Our Story of God’s Grace

Fifteen years ago, I met the man I believe God had placed in my life for a purpose. We built a life together and were blessed with two amazing children. On the outside, we looked like a typical family, but behind closed doors, we were struggling. Deeply.

My husband battled addictions—alcohol, drugs, and pornography—that tore at the fabric of our marriage. I faced my own struggles and pain as we both drifted into a place of hopelessness and despair. Trust was shattered. Our love felt lost. We were living in survival mode, emotionally distant and spiritually empty, teetering on the edge of divorce.

But God.

Over two years ago, in the darkest place of our lives, we encountered the love and saving grace of Jesus Christ. We didn’t just make a decision—we had a divine encounter. We surrendered our brokenness at His feet, and He met us there with open arms. We got saved and soon after, we were both baptized, symbolizing the beginning of a new life. A life we could never have imagined.

Since then, everything has changed—not overnight, but step by step, day by day. God broke the chains of addiction in our lives. He began to restore our marriage, heal our wounds, and transform our hearts. The road hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth every tear, every prayer, and every moment of surrender.

Today, our marriage is not only surviving—it’s thriving. We’re raising our children in the love and truth of Christ. We’ve experienced firsthand what it means for God to redeem, restore, and renew. His power is real. His grace is sufficient. And His love never fails.

We share our story not to boast in ourselves, but to boast in the One who saved us. If He can do it for us, He can do it for you too.

All glory to God.
